All prints are made by myself (Carl De Keyzer) and are of archival quality.
Printing is done with the Epson Stylus Pro 4880 printer for sizes up to A2, larger sizes are printed with the Epson Stylus Pro 11880 printer. A RIP (Imageprint) is used to obtain the best possible results.
The paper used is Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta 325 gr (all sizes), which is for my work the best paper around.
Digital processing is made with Apple equipment. Scanning (negatives) is done with the latest Imacon Flextight X5 scanner.
The prints are signed on the back (signature, title, edition). An additional label with the same information is included in the package in case the print is framed and mounted. This label can be attached to the back of the frame in that case.
In rare cases of printing flaws (prints are of the highest quality and treated with a lot of care, but accidents can happen) the client is asked to destroy the print and send proof through mail. A new print will be sent after.
Prints damaged by transport or due to uncareful handling will not be replaced.
All prints come in tubes (2 x tube system) and should resist any rough handling.
Not all images from my archive are visible on this site.
Images not present online (from books or publications) can be ordered as well at the same conditions. Please contact directly. prints@carldekeyzer.com
Images with panoramic formats have different print sizes. In this case the longest side (width) is taken as measure. For instance in case of a 80 x 60 cm (31,50 x 23,62 ") ordered print, the width of the print (including white borders) will be 80 cm long, the height will be adjusted accordingly.
Some images (panoramic and vertical) show reduced thumbnails on the site. This is done for esthetic and practical reasons. Don't worry when ordering these types of images. The cart pages use these thumbnails as well. The images as shown in full will be printed and sent to you.
